Installing Zabbix 2.0 package from EPEL on CentOS 6.4 64Bit

Installing Zabbix 2.0 package from EPEL on CentOS 6.4 64Bit . kemarin sudah install Install Zabbix v2 di Ubuntu 12.04 Precise atau Ubuntu Server 12.04 dan Install Zabbix v2 di Ubuntu 10.04 Precise atau Ubuntu Server 10.04 nah kali ini akan berbagi install zabbix di Cemtos 6.4 64bit. Install Zabbix Centos 6.4 64 bit ini menggunakan repo EPEL. Oke langsung aja step stepnya kita mulai.
Install repository configuration package:

rpm -ivh http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/2.0/rhel/6/x86_64/zabbix-release-2.0-1.el6.noarch.rpm

Install Zabbix server and web front-end with mysql:

yum install zabbix-server-mysql zabbix-web-mysql 

Install MySQL Database: Select Y/N as desired during each prompt and set your new root password

yum install mysql-server service mysqld start mysql_secure_installation 

Create zabbix database:

mysql -uroot -p<enter new root password>;
mysql> create database zabbix character set utf8;
mysql> grant all privileges on zabbix.* to zabbix@localhost identified by ‘zabbix’;
mysql> exit 

Import initial schema and data:

# cd /usr/share/doc/zabbix-server-mysql-2.0.6/create-
# mysql -uroot -p<enter password> zabbix < schema.sql
# mysql -uroot -p<enter password> zabbix < images.sql
# mysql -uroot -p<enter password> zabbix < data.sql 

Configure Zabbix server edit /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf

ListenPort=10051
DBHost=localhost
DBName=zabbix
DBUser=zabbix
DBPassword=somePasswd
DBSocket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
DBPort=3306
StartPollers=5
StartIPMIPollers=1  #If you have IPMI facilities in your server, enable this.
StartDiscoverers=1
SNMPTrapperFile=/tmp/zabbix_traps.tmp
StartSNMPTrapper=1
ListenIP=127.0.0.1CacheSize=24M # Bump this up to 24M from the default 8M 

Start Zabbix server service:

/etc/init.d/zabbix-server start 

Zabbix has certain PHP requirements, so edit /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini and set

post_max_size = 16M
max_execution_time = 300
max_input_time = 300
date.timezone = UTC 

Restart the apache web server:

/etc/init.d/httpd restart 

Set zabbix services to start on reboot:

# chkconfig zabbix-server on
# chkconfig mysqld on
# chkconfig httpd on 

Configure Zabbix Web interface:

At this stage, Zabbix web interface should be accessible by browsing ‘http://<IPhost>/zabbix‘
